BIOBED is a peat-free animal bedding filled with beneficial microorganisms that help break down the organic waste left by your animals.

This results in a dust-free product, which is particularly suitable for animals who are sensitice to respiratory problems and similar conditions. Additionally, the active microorganisms reduce unpleasant odors caused by ammonia evaporation, creating a better bedding environment for your animals.

BIOBED can be used for animals of all sizes, from horses and giraffes to smaller animals such as reptiles and rodents.

The active micro-life in BIOBED reduces ammonia evaporation, minimizes bad odors, and ensures better air quality in the stable or enclosure.

BIOBED forms both a top and bottom layer in the stall. The top layer is dry and easy to rake, making it simple to remove manure. The bottom layer is a moist, "firm mattress" and represents the bioactive part of the bedding. This also ensures that the animals does not stand directly on the floor. The combination of the dry top layer and a diverse range of microorganisms in the bottom minimizes the risk of mold and fungal infections.

WHAT IS BIOBED?

BIOBED is a natural product that is completely peat-free and produced in Denmark.

It is made from chips of Danish willow trees and is filled with naturally active micro-life that continuously works to break down the organic material from your animals.

LOW CLIMATE INPACT

BIOBED has a low carbon footprint as it is cultivated from willow, grass, and herbs, all of which are rapidly growing crops that can be harvested repeatedly.

In addition to the production requiring less energy, the processing of the soil is very limited, resulting in minimal environmental impact and a low carbon footprint. (27 CO2e pr. m3)
